What are the hours of operation?

Officers patrol the City 24 hours a day/ seven days a week. Police Department public hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Fridays, and closed for weekends and holidays. If you have an emergency, dial 911.

How can I contact a particular officer after hours?

Citizens can reach the Police Dispatcher for all non-emergency requests during non-officer hours at (831) 394-6811. The dispatcher can advise if the officer is working at that time. If the officer is not on duty a message can be left at the officer’s phone extension. All officers’ office numbers are listed under the “Contacts” page.

If I come to the station and no one answers the door, how do I summon an officer?

If you have an emergency, dial 911. If your concern is not an emergency call the Police Dispatcher at (831) 394-6811. The dispatcher will have an officer respond to the police department to meet with you.
