The Art Committee was formed by the City Council to guide and encourage the growing artist community within Sand City. The primary function has been the organization and management of the annual West End Event.
Members are appointed and consist of:

The Design Review Committee (DRC) was established in 1987, with members appointed by the City Council for 2-year terms. The primary function is to review and take action on architectural designs for development projects.

The Parking Committee was formed in 2006 to address growing parking and congestion problems within Sand City; particularly within the West End District.
